Our survey
reveals that more than 75% of the people do not enjoy their
jobs. They either work because they have to or because they do
not have other options. People generally regret not getting the
career counseling while in college. But, it is never too late.
Options are always open for seekers. We present a few tips o get
the right job or at least identify the right job for you.
q
Feel: Before anything, and perhaps the only
thing, that matters is what you feel is the best job for you.
Just be true to yourself. The right job for you is what your
heart begs you to do. It is precisely here, that self-analysis
(knowing your aptitudes, interests, strengths, weaknesses etc)
becomes so important. A thorough understanding of your strengths
and weaknesses is the most important and the first step towards
a fulfilling career and personal life. Another simple indication
of what exactly you want to do is your instant positive response
to a particular job.
Remember that you are not only hurting yourself by cursing your
job, but also your organization. Your productivity comes down
drastically resulting in a depressed career life, which further
manifests itself into a stressed personal life. Successful,
people (in both career and personal lives) are those who have
followed their heart’s call.
‘I HAVE NO
OPTION’ IS AN EXCUSE:
‘Where there is
a will, there is a way’ may sound clinched, but makes a lot of
sense. You cannot work for long because you have to. You will
have a fulfilling life only when you do want you want to do.
